Club Chair Report Chris
Howard
February 14: "All the
Presidents Men and Women" proved to be a great
theme for our February Mainstream dance. The dancers
seemed to really enjoy finding their opposite numbers for
what has become a traditional "find your partner"
mixer. Several triplets also provided considerable humor
Bill found Hillary and Monica while JFK found
Jackie and Marilyn. Thanks so much to Kathi and Harli for
their imaginative theme. As to the dancing, Tom Rinker provided excellent calling, showing even the most jaded Mainstream dancers just how much fun good calling can be at any level. Corinne Renauld provided her usual excellent cueing. It was great to have Corinne and Ed with us again. According to the sign-in sheets, we had 11 Concord Coach dancers retrieving their banner along with 11 guests from Bay Path Barn, Riverside Squares, and Bradford Country squares, and 19 members of Border City Squares. I know we had more dancers than that, but not everyone bothered to sign in. Thanks to Wayne and Priscilla, Tammy, Steve and Debbie, and Skip and Penny for their help in setting up for the dance. Somehow I feel I may be missing someone - if so, my apologies. Everyones help is genuinely appreciated. Our next club dance will be on March 13th, and this will be a Class dance with calling by Dave Perrault. There will be no rounds, and the theme for this dance is "Spring Fever." Set up for the dance will be at 12:30, and all are welcome to help the class get ready for the dance. During the dance we will be having a tin-can auction (buy tickets and put them in cans by various items for a drawing late in the dance.) Everyone is asked to look for possible contributions to the auction table. Items should be in good, "nearly new" condition and provide tempting offerings for the dancers. In most similar auctions I have seen at other clubs, the value of items generally ranges between $3 and $10. Tools, knick-knacks, craft items, kitchen items, and almost any type of non-perishable item can be considered. You can bring contributions to any of the workshops before the dance or to the dance itself. Remaining BCS dances:

Class Chair
Report Steve White
The class will be hosting their second
class dance on March 13th. The class has choosen the
theme "Spring Fever", since at this point we
are all looking forward to the end of winter and the
beginning of spring! It should be a fun dance for all who
attend. We could use everyone's help with setup at 12:30
pm on the 13th. There are just two more class level dances until the class graduates. Unfortunately, I will be away during both of them. I am looking for a volunteer (or volunteers) to lead the class to one or both of these dances. See me if you are interested. Below is an updated list of class dances that are coming up in the next few months. I will try to arrange carpools for these dances and have signup sheets for them in advance. If anyone has any questions, please see me.Class Level Dances for this dance season (Class, please note that by the end of April you will all be able to attend any Mainstream level dance):
